Born and raised in Flint, MI, Porsha Deun (pronounced like Dion) began to take her writing seriously in 2015. She started with Love Lost while unemployed after graduating from Davenport University with a B.B.A. in Accounting. Three years and two accounting jobs later, her debut novel, Love Lost, was published.
Love Lost was nominated for AAMBC's 2019 Urban Book of the Year Award. Since publishing Love Lost, she has continued to write, publishing Love Lost Forever, the second book in the erotic Love Lost Series in June 2019. Her third book, Love Lost Revenge is expected to be released in March of 2020.

Kim is born in 1983 and from London in the UK. She's a mother to a beautiful little boy, and a proud award-winning author (awarded Best Romance 2017 title for A Stranger In France). Kim started her journey as a traditionally published author and later dived into self-publishing also.
As a reader, she's head over heels in love with romance, historical fiction, crime fiction, African- American, suspense and thriller genre books. As a writer, Kim enjoys creating stories with a diverse and multi-cultural lineup, within the romance, romantic suspense, and general thriller and crime genres. When she's not reading, or writing stories of her own her other passions include practicing her French, astrology, fashion, make-up artistry, drawing, spending time at her sewing machine dressmaking, watching make -up and beauty tutorials on YouTube, letter writing and being a mum.

Derrick Anthony Marrow was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pa. He graduated from Philadelphia’s Central High School (252) and then spent a few years at Howard University.
Derrick is newly married with three children, one boy, and two girls.
Derrick started writing in middle school and has never stopped. He is a multi-genre author with books ranging from YA to middle grade to what he calls truthful narrative fiction. He self-published all of his works. His first published book was a book of poetry in 2016 which was a compilation of works ranging from his college years to the present. His most recent work is the second in the Uncomfortable Conversation Series, the Police and the community which is a look at the interaction of the police with the people they are supposed to protect and serve through both the eyes of the police and the community.
He is still very involved in Philadelphia as a coach for both Baseball (Mt. Airy Baseball) and football (Mt. Airy Bantams).

I am a wife, mother of two boys, three bonus kids (step kids) and my bonus grandson.
I worked as a Patient Service Rep for 15 years until I had to stop working to take care of my youngest son who has autism.
I decided that autism would not become a problem in my life it will be my purpose.
I wrote Jay Just Wants to Play based off an experience my son had. From that experience I wrote the book and started an Autism family support group called Autism R.E.C (Resources, Encouragement & Coping)
Mission Statement: The mission of Autism R.E.C is to provide community education programs, critical resources, recreational activities, and support services to the families of autistic children.
Vision Statement: We envision a world where families of all autistic children receive support they need to ensure they and their children live the fullest lives possible in spite of the challenges of autism.

Born and raised in the Chicagoland area, Ariel Simmons found her gift at an early age. The moment her pen touched paper she was forever bound to her love, writing. Like most, she found fulfillment in other activities but nothing could compare to her first love. At the age of 10 she began writing books of poetry transitioning to screenplays in high school. Thereafter, her writing slowed down but by the Grace of God she was reacquainted with her first love through the birth of her son Malcolm.
In her debut children's book Miracle Malcolm, she showcases her talents to the world as an author in hopes of inspiring, educating and spreading positivity to those around her.

Hailing from Albany, GA, Untamed is a multi-genre fiction author who accredits her early education in magnet school programs for her creative mind and passion for the literary field. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland University College and is an honored member of Sigma Alpha Pi.
She first found a love of writing as a young child through her love of reading. It was the novel entitled, Coming of Age by Lorri Hewitt that truly inspired Untamed and became the flame that ignited her introduction to the pen and pad.
Untamed's writing journey began at thirteen years old with poetry, spoken word and short stories. Throughout her high school and college years, she received many accolades for her writing ability to include the Coca-Cola Young Writers Award and honorable mention in the Sandhills Writers’ Conference.
Best known for her gritty yet flavorful language, Untamed brings about knowledge and support through real life, every day stories with highly animated and lifelike characters. Her powerful words and straight up, no-chaser verbiage delivers punches that will leave you screaming for more.
In 2012, Untamed released her debut novel entitled, Never Again…No More through One Karma Publishing to rave reviews. Untamed’s work has been featured in several print ads including SWAG Magazine CA and Kontrol Magazine. Untamed has also had several author features and interviews including noteworthy interviews with NTUNED Radio Show, The Morning Cookup Show and Diamond's Literary World.
In 2014, Untamed made the decision to become a self-published author and penned ten novels to date. She was also a contributor to Loving Black Men An Anthology, for which proceeds are donated to the NAACP. Her work has also been featured in several magazines including Precious Stones and Soul Say On Universal Languages Issue 3. Her second novel entitled, Never Again…No More II: Getting Back to Me broke into the Amazon Top 100 for Literature- Fiction becoming an official Amazon Bestseller.
Her diligent work led to a budding opportunity as a writer and interviewer with SWAG Magazine CA and SWAG Magazine Souf based out of the Bay Area in California. Her interviewees and write-ups include Hollywood Pompeii, DJ N-Fluence (a budding DJ from Australia) and Hazel E from VH1's Love & Hip Hop Hollywood, just to name a few.
She is also a dedicated volunteer for Mothers Against Drunk Driving. As a volunteer and committee member for Augusta M.A.D.D., she is committed to honoring the memory of her family members who passed away in a drunk driving crash by creating a legacy of giving to support other victims and survivors. In March 2015, she released a poetry book that is near and dear to her heart entitled, This Side of Heaven-A Poetic Journey of Strength and Survivalwhich rose to the charts of Amazon as the #1 Hot New Release and an Amazon Bestseller. It is a collection of poems dedicated to her daughter, mother and cousin for which all proceeds are donated to M.A.D.D. (Mothers Against Drunk Driving).
In 2018, with the assistance of her literary agent, N'Tyse of Literary Champagne Suite, Untamed landed a three book major publishing deal with Urban Books/Kensington.

Tiffani Teachey is a Sr. Mechanical Engineer, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) advocate, professional speaker, and author of the children's book What Can I Be? STEM Careers from A to Z. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, as well as a Masters of Science degree in Engineering Management, both from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
As an engineer with more than fifteen years of experience, Tiffani has a passion for inspiring the next generation to engage in STEM careers. She is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI). Tiffani was born and raised in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, enjoys traveling and being a youth mentor.
